ATD Design Services was incorporated in 2001 by a group of highly experienced tooling design and manufacturing personnel who recognized the need for a structured and stable tooling design service for aerospace manufacturers.  ATD headquarters are in Montreal, Quebec, witch is one of the leading global aerospace manufacturing and maintenance hubs.

We have rigorous internal processes and our quality management system is accredited in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. All our designs are subjected to a meticulous verification process to satisfy our “Do It Right The First Time” philosophy. Such efforts have proven to be highly cost effective and result in minimal or no rework.

We bundle our services in several ways based on the preferences of our customers and the specific nature of the project. They include:

 

  • Outsourced tooling design services,
  • Design services by an ATD team embedded with customer engineering and manufacturing staff,
  • Design and management and technical oversight of the customer-selected tooling manufacturer,
  • Integrated design-build service; ATD partners with a tooling manufacturer to jointly deliver a complete solution.

 

ATD uses CATIA V4 and V5 platforms and our customers include aircraft, engine and equipment manufacturers.
